The Story of Livermore Trophies and TeesLivermore Trophies and Tees was started in 1977 when the owners, Bill & Dianna Geyer, were trying to find awards for a school competition. We tried in vain to buy some medals at a valley store but were repeatedly put off. On a visit to Vallejo we visited their local supplier and were quickly accommodated. In the weeks that followed we discussed the idea of opening a store in Livermore to serve the Tri-Valley. We opened in November of 1977 with a small 400 square foot store. The business grew quickly and in 1981 we expanded to 900 square feet, adding tee shirt printing and pro licensed caps, jackets and clothing to our lines. In the summer of 1989 we made a one block move to a separate building and doubled our size again just in time for the battle of the bay between the A's and the Giants. In January of 1993 our store became flooded and we realized that our store was too small again. As luck would have it, a mere three blocks away was a vacant store with 5600 square feet. Such a big store, we thought we would never fill it, but here we are today with every inch full of plaques, trophies, tee shirts and sports memorabilia. We have added three more engraving machines, in addition to two embroidery machines that makes us say "We Can Do Everything." This is when we developed our "Pro Corner" membership - giving our members 20% off our already great prices (except at sale time when they get an extra 5% off the sale price). In addition to the discount, Pro Corner members receive a great looking polo shirt of their favorite team and quarterly newsletters to let you know when new and special merchandise arrives. Our pro sports memorabilia and apparel is a great representation of our local teams and players for the enthusiast in all of us. We can help to promote your business with incentive awards, advertising specialties and other promotional items. Caps, jackets, uniforms, polo shirts can be lettered, screened, embroidered and personalized to your specifications with your logo or our designers can create one for you.
